Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Abel website at abelhq.com and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
The service
Abel is a platform that lets service businesses create AI phone agents that answer calls, schedule appointments, and provide customer support, along with a CRM to manage customers, calendar, and email. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Accounts
To use the service you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Obtain any consents required to record calls, send messages, or contact your customers through the service
- Not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
- Be responsible for the content and instructions you configure your agents to use
Prohibited uses
You may not use the service to:
- Engage in illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities
- Transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content
- Violate the rights or privacy of others
- Send unlawful or unconsented automated calls or messages
Third-party integrations
The service can connect to third-party providers such as Google (Calendar and Gmail), Stripe, and Twilio. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the third party’s terms, and you are responsible for maintaining any required accounts and permissions. You can disconnect an integration at any time from your dashboard.
Payment
If you purchase paid services, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. We may change our pricing with notice for future billing periods.
Intellectual property
All content, features, and functionality of the service are owned by Abel and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content and data you provide, and grant us the rights needed to operate the service on your behalf.
Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information, including data from connected Google accounts.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every requirement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the service at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you by email. Your continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
